Error 318 means: dial tone detected; usually indicates the dialing sequence did not break dial tone.

Possible solution:
The chance of getting Error 318 can be reduced by setting the
busy_dt_ct parameter in btcall.cfg to 10.
Restart the computer after changing the btcall.cfg.
