SecurTrac Mail Policy - Mail Policy Log

The Mail Policy log shows detailed information about e-mail that has been logged. The following table describes all fields in the log document:

Field	Description
Action Time	Date and time the event was detected.
Triggered By Policy	Mail Policy that triggered this log.
Action	Action taken for this specific e-mail document: Audit, Copy, Quarantine, Delete.
Message ID	UNID(Unique Identifier) of the e-mail.
Form	Name of the database document form that was used. i.e. "Memo".
Sender	Address/Notes user ID of the sender.
Principal	The Address/Notes user ID of the mail file database owner from which the e-mail was sent.

Send To	Address(es) of the e-mail recipient(s).
Copy To	Address(es) of the e-mail recipient(s) who were CC'd in the e-mail.
Blind Copy To	Address(es) of the e-mail recipient(s) who were BCC'd in the e-mail.
Recipients	Address(es) of all e-mail recipient(s). Groups would be expanded.
Subject	Subject of the e-mail.
Attachment	List of file names included as attachments.
Encrypted	Is the e-mail is encrypted.
Signed	Is the e-mail signed.

For policy log documents that have the Action type listed as Quarantine E-Mail, a button to load the quarantined e-mail will appear as follows:

When viewing a mail policy log document for e-mail that has been quarantined, three action buttons are displayed. They are described as follows:

Action Buttons:

Clicking the Release E-Mail button will deliver the e-mail to its intended recipient(s).

Options	Description
To Sender	Send an E-Mail back to the sender of the message - Mail Policy Violation Notification.
To Sender with Document Link	Send an E-Mail back to the sender of the message - Mail Policy Violation Notification, with a Document Link to the Log.
To Alternate user	Send an E-Mail to an alternate user - Mail Policy Violation Notification.
To Alternate user with Document Link	Send an E-Mail back to an alternate user - Mail Policy Violation Notification, with a Document Link to the Log.

Options Description

Set E-Mail Notification Text Customize E-Mail Notification text that will be sent to users.

Reset E-Mail Notification Text to Defaults Reset E-Mail Notification text to defaults.
