Configuration and Log databases required by SecurTrac

SecurTrac Configuration Database (SCTCFG.NSF)

The SecurTrac configuration database is created by the SecurTracTM server program the first time that it is loaded from the IBM Domino server console. The database is created based on the SCTCFG.NTF template. It is a central repository where all SecurTrac server configuration information is stored. In a multiple server environment, the SecurTrac configuration database can be replicated amongst all servers running SecurTrac. Each server is not required to have its own dedicated SecurTrac configuration database. The following document types are stored within the SecurTrac configuration database:





SecurTrac Central Log Database (SCTLOG.NSF)

The SecurTrac Central Log Database is created by the SecurTracTM server program the first time it is loaded from the server console. The database is created based on the SCTLOG.NTF template. It is the default central repository where SecurTrac logs are stored on each SecurTrac server. The following document types are stored within the SecurTrac log database:


When a SecurTrac log database already exists and when a new SecurTrac Log Database file is created, it will copy the previous SecurTrac log database ACL to the new SecurTrac log database.


SecurTrac Mail Policy Log Database (SCTPOLICYLOG.NSF)

The SecurTrac Mail Policy log is created by the SecurTracTM server program the first time it is loaded from the server console. The database is created based on the SCTPOLICYLOG.NTF template. It is the default central repository where SecurTrac Mail Policy logs are stored on each SecurTrac server. The following document types are stored within the SecurTrac Policy log database:




SecurTrac Quarantine Database (SCTQUAR.NSF)

The SecurTrac Mail Quarantine database is created by the SecurTracTM server program the first time it is loaded from the server console. The database is created based on the SCTQUAR.NTF template. It is the default central repository where e-mail that is quarantined by the SecurTrac Mail Policy feature are stored on each SecurTrac server. The following document types are stored within the SecurTrac log database:
