When configuring ExtraFax to work with your installed GSM/GPRS device, you will have to specify correct values in the "Port Name" and "Port Speed" fields of the ExtraFax Port Control document.
The best way to identify the appropriate values is from the Windows Device Manager.
(Windows Device Manager >> Modems >> right-click your modem >> Properties >> Modem tab)
The "Port" displayed in Windows Device Manager is the value that you should set for "Port Name" in the ExtraFax Port Control document.
The "Maximum Port Speed" displayed in Windows Device Manager is the value that you should set for "Port Speed" in the ExtraFax Port Control document.
Example:
The screen shot below illustrates the device properties of a MultiTech MultiModem GPRS modem. For this example, the appropriate values for the "Port Name" and "Port Speed" in the ExtraFax Port Control document will be "COM1" and "115200" respectively.
